Carcavelos Surf School Surf Lessons offer close and professional support from your first lesson to the most advanced level.

Learn to ride the waves, where adventure and excitement – in safety – are the main ingredients of this sport. Lessons are given to small groups by an accredited teacher who is available to teach you the techniques for balancing on the board and catching the best waves.

Carcavelos Surf School was founded in 2001 and is the FIRST SURF SCHOOL ON CARCAVELOS BEACH, LISBON. The school is certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and Turismo de Portugal and aims to teach the art of surfing the waves in a safe, correct and relaxed way, always under the close supervision of the teachers. Thousands of people have already learned at the Carcavelos Surf School how to slide down the wall of the wave on a board. They have facilities that allow students to dress up and store their belongings safely and at the end of the lesson they have an outdoor shower at their disposal. The school has a wide range of safe softboards and modern wetsuits to teach you in a safe and fun way.

Hours: Every day, including weekends, holidays and school vacations.

Duration: Lessons last approximately two hours.
