Prices are differentiated between the Europe Zone and the World Zone and those who have an ISIC, ITIC or IYTC card have access to special rates for ISIC travel insurance.

* The Europe Zone includes the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Slovenia, Slovakia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Morocco, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Republic of San Marino, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine.

** World Zone: These are simply the other countries that are not listed above.

To find out more about the coverage and guarantees of ISIC travel insurance, consult the General and Particular Conditions of Insurance

By default, when you take out insurance online, the form will only allow you to select a destination country, but your cover will be for the whole of the Europe Zone* or World Zone**. ISIC insurance covers you in every country in the world as long as you have taken out World Zone** cover. You can change country as many times as you like without having to inform ISIC Insurance.

If you are only covered in the Europe Zone*, we advise you to select the first country you are traveling to. If you want to be covered all over the world, we advise you to select the first country OUTSIDE the Europe Zone* that you are traveling to.

Example: Joana is going on a trip to Latin America, but first she’s going to spend a few days in Madrid, where she’ll catch a flight to Mexico. For Joana to be covered worldwide, she must take out insurance with a start date of the day she leaves Portugal, but select the destination Mexico to be covered throughout the World Zone**. If Joana chose Spain instead of Mexico, she would only be covered in the Europe Zone**.

* The Europe Zone includes the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Slovenia, Slovakia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Morocco, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Republic of San Marino, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine.

** World Zone: These are simply the other countries that are not listed above.

The periods of stay set out in the price list cannot be changed.

If you are traveling for more days and need more coverage, we recommend that you choose a rate with enough days to cover your entire stay, including travel days.

If you decide to extend your trip and need more days of insurance cover, keep an eye on your inbox because 15 days before the end of your insurance period, you will receive an email alerting you to a possible extension. If you don’t receive this email or if you need any additional support, you can ask for help here: info@kinousassur.com

Grace period is the waiting time between subscription and activation of the insurance or cover. A grace period of 8 days, during which no guarantee can take effect, will apply from the date of subscription of the contract, and the guarantee will only take effect at the end of that period.

No, as soon as you return permanently to Portugal, the guarantees of the contract automatically end and you are no longer covered by the insurance. You are only covered in your country of residence for a maximum of 30 consecutive days and on condition that you return abroad at the end of that period.

Have the following data with you:

  • Tel. Foreign: +33 5 86 85 00 57
