Zuikookan – Oriental Arts Center

Zuikookan – Centro de Artes Orientais em Portugal, is a non-profit association and resulted from the joint activity of a group of more than three dozen people in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia who get together regularly to promote and develop knowledge and a taste for oriental culture.

It is an organization dedicated to the promotion of oriental culture, especially Japanese culture, namely martial disciplines, traditional medicine, literature, writing and oriental arts.

The association has a therapeutic center for traditional and unconventional medicines as well as a center for oriental languages, namely Japanese and Mandarin.
