Our brand, Cronjager.com, is inspired by the character Captain Cronjager of the homicide department in Raymond Chandler’s crime novel “The Big Sleep”. Cronjager is described as “a man with a cold stare and an angular face, as thin as a rake and as tough as the manager of a pawnshop. His well-groomed face looked as if it had been shaved just then. He wore a well-pressed suit and had a black pearl on his tie. His long, nervous fingers indicated a quick mind. He looked like he was ready to fight.”
